I am aware that the CLAN LOOP took a back seat these past months. I really need to upgrade it and then push it out into our families and get the ball rolling. All those weddings and their associated photos sucked up a lot of my time. But after that…
Kind of blurted it out about this CLANLOOP being in the makes. Well, I WAS going to upgrade the underlying software first and WAS going to look to integrate some stuff better… but it had dropped onto the back burner, I admit. Still hoping to get an integrated Photo Gallery fast up and running…
But Scott brought up the idea of a shared family calendar and instead of having even another place “to meet”, I thought it better to let everyone know that this place already exists.
Let’s hear some reactions.
Having the first niece create an account and familiarizing herself with The Clan Loop – this is the test to see how people will connect or not with this BuddyPress installation.
Blogs right now only happen upon request to be able to control who puts their foot down in here; I guess it’s probably soon time to change that.
I’m excited. Bear had this idea of a family site with personalized sections but then also shared section for quite a while and this just seems the perfect way to accomplish it.
not me, but THE CLAN LOOP has changed from aggressive orange to blue. I like it.

Want to add so many little tidbits before tomorrow to THE CLAN LOOP so as to make it inviting for other family members to participate and thus to create a unique environment and shared family thing… but there are also so many OTHER things to do… I am spinning

Not sure if days of biting myself into the code side of things or the fact that it’s my day off or plain hormones are giving me this migraine, I hate it.
Next to that I’m making progress with The Clan Loop and am happy about it! The Forum works and is incorporated. Some random images from the Family Photo Gallery show up and so it is getting to be more contained.
Within barely 48 hours we already had an unknown person sign up to The Clan Loop… how do they FIND this stuff?
Now set to DISABLED – will be more work setting people up, but at least it is controlled entry.

I guess this is really it. I mean, look at that. Yesterday night installed, so that doesn’t count. And now walking on toddlers feet. Still so much to do. But all of this does not answer the question: will it catch on?
